Professional Portraits with Presence

Modern Portrait Sessions for Professional & Creative Women

More than a standard headshot, these are intentional portraits for the places you’re showing up. Use them for your website, LinkedIn, press, a launch, or the next room you’re walking into.

You don’t need to perform or become someone else for the camera. I’ll guide you through a relaxed, thoughtful process so the final images feel polished, artful, and recognizably you.

Who This Experience Is For

  • founders and business owners
  • leaders and speakers
  • creatives, artists, consultants, and makers
  • women in a career or personal transition
  • anyone whose current photos no longer match how they show up now

How it works

STEP 01

Reach Out

Fill out the portrait inquiry form and I’ll get back to you within 24 hours. We’ll confirm the session, timing, and fee, then I’ll send over a booking link to officially schedule your session.

STEP 02

Plan it out

Once you’re booked, we’ll have a quick pre-shoot call to talk through what you need, the overall feel, and any ideas or requests you have. We can also go over outfits, locations, and anything else that will help you feel prepared.

STEP 03

Shoot time!

For Refresh and Signature sessions, just arrive camera-ready and I’ll take it from there. I’ll guide you through the shoot so you feel comfortable, confident, and never left wondering how to pose. Afterward, we can review the images together or I can send you a link to look through at home.

STEP 04

Photo Editing & Delivery

Once you’ve chosen your favorites, I’ll make the finishing edits — color, tone, and the overall feel of each image. I also do light retouching for things like blemishes, flyaways, clothing wrinkles, and distracting background details, while keeping you looking like you. I don’t alter bodies or facial features — just a more polished version of what’s already there. Your final images will be delivered via email within one week.

FAQ

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

I will guide you the whole way. I'll make sure you feel prepared and have all the information you need beforehand. During the shoot, I will direct and guide you into poses. We'll take the "safe" posed photos first, then we can get a bit more creative, free, and fun!

What should I wear?

Wear what makes you feel the most confident and comfortable. But there are general tips for shooting headshots and portraits like complementing the background color/texture, avoiding white or busy patterns, or make sure your clothes are pressed/steamed. Don't worry, I'll have a style guide prepared for you and we'll chat about it prior to the shoot.

Where do the sessions take place?

The Portrait Refresh takes place at my studio in SoMa, San Francisco. The Signature and Full Portrait Experience sessions can take place at my studio, at your home/office or at a rented space (additional charge) - it all depends on the creative direction you'd like to go with.

Do you offer hair & makeup?

Yes! I have a roster of amazingly talented hair and makeup artists local to the Bay Area. Hair and makeup is an additional fee for the Refresh and Signature Sessions but it is included in the Full Portrait Experience.
