A little about me

I love to create.

I've always been a bit of a dreamer and a maker. From a young age, I gravitated towards the visual arts. Today, I'm a serial hobbyist and enjoy crafting, knitting, jewelry making and coloring with my eldest daughter.

Photography

My first film camera was a used Canon AE-1 from a pawn shop. I learned everything I could from every photography class offered at my local community college. From there, I honed my skills on the side before taking the freelance leap almost 10 years ago.

Approach

Emotions first, technical stuff second. The camera is just a tool. The most important part for me is the connection between myself and my clients/subject(s). Photography is a collaborative effort - the process & experience is just as important as the final images.

Quick Facts

I was born in the Philippines and grew up in SoCal, Orange County. I now call the Bay Area my home with my husband and two young daughters.

Avid reader of fantasy, sci-fi, and thriller novels. I also like to relax with a captivating crime doc and can't pass up a classic crumb donut.
