Choose the setting that feels most like your family


Park (Piedmont Park & Arizona Cactus Garden)

Warm, easygoing, and full of greenery. A classic outdoor setting that works especially well for families who want something natural and relaxed.


Beach (Ocean Beach, San Francisco)

Windswept, candid, and a little imperfect in the best way. Expect movement, sandy feet, and photos that feel more like a little beach day than a formal session.


Studio (San Francisco)

Clean, modern, and simple. A polished, minimal option with no weather worries and a little more focus on the portraits themselves.

FAQ

What if my child doesn’t cooperate?

That’s completely normal and honestly, mostly expected. Mini sessions are meant to stay light and flexible, especially with little ones. We’ll get the must-have looking-at-camera photo first, then work with whatever energy they bring.

What happens if it rains?

For outdoor sessions, I’ll keep an eye on the forecast and send an update if weather looks questionable. If we need to reschedule, I’ll provide the next available option.

What should we wear?

Think tones and textures! Keep it comfortable and coordinated without feeling overly matched. Neutrals, denim, soft textures, and simple layers photograph beautifully. I’ll also send a short prep guide before your session.

Can we bring our dog/pet?

For park and beach sessions, yes! As long as the location allows dogs. Just let me know ahead of time so I can plan around it. For studio session - sorry no pets allowed.

Can extended family join?

Mini sessions are designed for one immediate family. If you’d like grandparents, multiple households, or a larger group included, a full family session is usually the better fit.

How many photos will we receive?

For super minis, expect to receive at least 20 edited images. For 30-minute minis, you can expect a minimum of the best 40 images from your session.

How long does it take to get our photos?

Mini session are usually delivered within 1 week (seven business days) after the shoot.

What if we’re running late?

Because mini sessions are booked back-to-back, your session will still end at the scheduled time. Arriving a few minutes early is always a good idea.

What if we want more time?

If you’d like multiple looks, a slower pace, or more room for variety, a full family session may be a better fit. Mini sessions are best for families who are happy to keep things quick and easy.
