Grandparents Week

Portraits Sign-Up

November 16 - November 20

Welcome! We’re excited to offer quick 5-minute portrait sessions during Grandparents Week.

Choose a time for your child and their grandparent(s) or special friend(s) to stop by for a simple, relaxed portrait together.

After the event, you’ll receive a private gallery link where you can view and purchase digital images and prints as a sweet keepsake from the week and a lovely gift for grandparents and family.

After Grandparents Week, you’ll receive access to a private online gallery via email with your family’s images.

From there, you can choose to purchase:

  • High-resolution digital images
  • Professional prints
  • Keepsake photos for grandparents and family

There is no obligation to purchase. You’ll  be able to view your images first and choose what you’d like.

Before You Arrive

PLEASE REMEMBER TO BOOK A TIME SLOT ON THE SAME DAY THE GRANDPARENTS WILL BE VISITING THE SCHOOL

A few quick notes:

  • Please arrive about 5 minutes before your scheduled session so we can keep the morning running smoothly.
  • Come camera-ready, and make sure everyone who will be photographed arrives together.
  • Because sessions are scheduled back-to-back, arriving late may shorten your portrait time.
  • Most importantly, don’t worry about making everything perfect. We’ll keep the session quick, easy, and lightly guided.

About the Photographer

Portraits will be photographed by Melissa de Mata, a Bay Area portrait photographer with over 10 years of experience. She’s also a mom to a preschooler and a third grader, so she knows firsthand that some of the best photos happen when kids are simply allowed to be themselves.

Her approach is warm, easygoing, and gently guided to create polished, natural portraits that still feel like the people in them.
