A Cold San Francisco Summer
Weather in San Francisco can be fickle. What I'd hope would be a golden sunset spent at Ocean Beach turned into a chilly windy session. I went back and forth between rescheduling the sessions or pushing through with the ones I had scheduled that day - I decided to move them up an hour instead so that we can get the better, less gloomy light of the afternoon. Ultimately, I was so happy we pushed through.
So what does a photographer do when the weather and light isn't what they'd hoped for? I focused on the families instead, and made sure to get the best possible interactions captured on camera. It truly warms my heart looking back at all these photos and seeing the loving smiles from everyone.
