Life Update #1: My Car Gets Broken Into

I was washing my face when I started thinking about everything that happened to my life this past week. Quite a bit actually. Then I thought about putting it all in a blog post. That's why you're reading this.

SEPHORA face mask. Not the best fitting mask, as you can tell. Either that, or my nose is unusually large.

So yeah, this is my weekly life update. Tune in every Monday night for unedited photos (mostly from my iPhone), a rambling of thoughts, and a collection of memories that I can later show my kids. Something to let them know I was allright back in my day. Either that, or they can think I was actually totally lame.

*I plan to write these posts quickly, so it can be as "unedited" and "uncensored" as possible. Even though there isn't really such a thing when it comes to the internet or social media. So forgive me if there are typos or grammatical errors.

Flight to PHILLY!

Flight to PHILLY!

My best friend flew me out to Philly to attend PERLA Pop Up Restaurant. Her boyfriend is a kick-ass chef and is about to open an amazing modern Filipino food restaurant. I was there to help out, eat some food, and take some photos. Also, mainly, to relive our teenage days with lots of giggling, girl talk, life catch up, and ice cream eating.

OMG - High Street on Market, Philly (soooo gooood!) | Bad lighting so this was all I got. I didn't want to use flash. But forreal, one of the best meals I've ever had.

Flew back home Wednesday night, and was reunited with Matt! (he's my fiancé)

Waiting for Pho. Yes, that's a big pimple on my forehead.

Really loved this arrangement from Mission de Flores.

Saturday, noon, my car got broken into.

Bright side? I had my camera with me, I would have cried if I left it in there.
Lesson I learned: DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING IN THE CAR. Even if it's in the middle of the day and you're only going to be leaving it for an hour.
Another bright side? At least I have a car to get broken into. Really thankful that I have a car at all. Also, things are replaceable.

On to happier news - I finally found my ideal backpack! Black, sleek, and fits both my laptop and camera. Also has padded, hard shell bottom.

Text convo: the one where Matt thought I wanted to go to a new hipster restaurant called "Bookstore"

That's all for now. See you next week!
