I'm pretty lucky that I can see this view any day. Living so close to San Francisco, we're spoiled with both cityscapes and landscapes. This view from Twin Peaks (shown above) is only minutes away.
BUT, it's definitely not everyday that I get to see The City from the air.
Big thanks to HERE Maps for inviting me and a few other photographers along for the ride!
The crew for the day: @ari55, @sanfrancisco, @thomas_k, @dailyoverview, and our lovely host from HERE, @miggybangs.
Our #instameetHERE was co-hosted by Benjamin Grant of Daily Overview.
If you're not already following @dailyoverview on Instagram, follow them now. The abstract satellite images are crystal clear, mesmerizing, and beautiful. More importantly, they show just how human activity has affected our planet.
From Twin Peaks, to Sausalito, the Point Bonita Lighthouse trails, then finally to the highlight of the day, our sea plane ride! It's hard to explain how it feels seeing San Francisco from above, but I'll let the photos show you instead.
Sigh, I LOVE San Francisco.
